Career and professional development

As a registered training provider and not an employer, TalentMed is unable to guarantee work or job placements upon course completion. Our diploma-level qualifications are listed on the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and classified as nationally recognised training, which means the qualification is recognised by employers and other registered training organisations across Australia.

Graduates of the Diploma of Quality Auditing (Healthcare) work in roles including quality auditor, clinical governance officer, accreditation coordinator, internal-audit analyst, NSQHS compliance officer, and continuous-improvement adviser. Specific roles depend on each employer and individual experience.

Audit, accreditation, and compliance scrutiny across Australian healthcare continues to expand: the NSQHS Standards apply to most acute and day-procedure services, the Aged Care Quality Standards have been re-cast in recent reforms, and the NDIS Practice Standards regulate disability service delivery. Each of these accreditation regimes increases demand for audit, compliance, and quality roles inside provider organisations.

The skill set covered, including audit planning, evidence evaluation, compliance review, risk management, and continuous improvement, is directly aligned with day-to-day clinical governance work. Many graduates use the Diploma to move from operational or administrative roles into governance and quality functions.

  • Current resume detailing relevant work experience in audit, quality, compliance, or healthcare governance

  1. Read our policies to familiarise yourself with the RPL requirements
  2. Complete your enrolment form
