Codefinder fluency, taught on the live software
Solventum Codefinder is the software Australian clinical coders use every day to assign ICD-10-AM and ACHI codes and group episodes for funding. Knowing the classifications is one thing. Using the tool quickly and accurately is what makes you productive on the job.
This course builds that fluency, step by step, on the live software, in two phases: a foundation in finding and verifying codes, then the full coding and grouping workflow across diagnoses, procedures, code properties and grouping output.
The integrated Codefinder workspace you’ll learn on: alphabetic index, tabular list, Australian Coding Standards, National Coding Advice and grouping output, all in one screen.

Who it's for and prerequisites
For: This course suits clinical coding students, working clinical coders, and health information professionals who want to use Solventum Codefinder confidently and efficiently.
Recommended background: You will get the most from this course if you have completed the HLT50321 Diploma of Clinical Coding, hold a Bachelor of Health Information Management, or are a current practising Australian clinical coder. No prior Codefinder experience is needed.
Requirement: You must be physically located in Australia to enrol. This course is not available to international students, because ICD-10-AM and the Solventum Codefinder software are licensed for Australian use only.
