I considered a career in medical transcription for a number of years and researched the available qualifications. TalentMed’s Diploma in Healthcare Documentation stood out to me, so I signed up. The support and encouragement from Ann-Marie and the team during the course was awesome, from emails to phone calls checking in on how I was doing. The course content was very thorough and the right amount of challenging! Once I completed the course, there was feedback and follow-up support which was most helpful.
I started working for a great company and quickly realised how relevant the course material is to the real world. I have really enjoyed beginning my MT career and know that Ann-Marie and her team have set me up with the skills and knowledge I need. MT is really interesting and I love being able to work from home.
This is an excellent course if you want to get into the management side of health. It has really helped me find out my passion for writing policies and procedures. I really enjoyed studying this unit, it allowed me to attain the knowledge and understanding of how words are used and how to use them in medical terms. I particularly enjoyed having to research certain aspects of medical terminology. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in working in the medical field.
I had been doing a lot of research about different courses until I found the Diploma of Healthcare Documentation and it was the one I chose because of everything that it offered, it was exactly what I was looking for. From the beginning, it provides everything necessary to completely understand the medical world and the role the MT plays. Going from theory to the specific practical exercises, this course offers everything you could ever need to be very well prepared for the job. It is challenging, as it should be, but you are always guided and supported at all times. Ann-Marie is amazing and helped me not only with the course content; but she also helped me feel that I did have what it takes, and that meant the world to me. This course is very well set out and all the content provided is invaluable. I am deeply thankful for having had the opportunity to take this course and I look to the future with hope feeling confident in my abilities because of how well this course has prepared me for the workplace.
I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I had previously attempted to do this course through a very reputable provider that offered absolutely no support. Not only did I fail to complete the course, but it cost me alot of money. I left feeling totally lost. I had previously completed a Diploma of Healthcare Documentation through TalentMed a couple of years before and luckily for me, they picked me up, dusted me off and led me in the direction of success with my clinical coding. My trainer Kylee was amazing.
