Best Travel Jobs

Travel jobs allow you to earn a decent income while you chase your globe-trotting dreams.

The choices for travel jobs are however, very limited. For instance, if you work in hospitality, you must have the correct visas to work in each country.

Here is a list of some of the best travel jobs that we have prepared, to help you work from overseas.

If you would like more information on the career opportunities in medical transcription or TalentMed’s nationally recognised Diploma of Healthcare Documentation, please call one of our friendly Career Advisers on 1300 737 781 or send an email to ask@talentmed.edu.au

What do transcriptionists earn per hour in Australia? How many hours per week do they work on average?

      Hi Mirjana,
Thanks for your comment- great questions!
As Medical Transcriptionists tend to work online from home, they are often paid based on production. This makes it difficult to calculate an hourly wage.
There is some information available for the hourly rate for Medical Transcriptionists. Please visit https://talentmed.edu.au/medical-transcription-salary-australia/ for more information or contact our Career Advisers on 1300 737 781. Thanks Mirjana 🙂

Do you have to have a working rights visa for the country you are in while working online as a medical transcriptionist for an Australian company?

      TalentMed 03/12/2015 at 2:51 PM

      Hi Nicholas,
      Thank you for your comment.
Generally people choosing to work for a company in their own country of residence don’t require a working visa if travelling overseas. In this instance, a travel visa is often acceptable. It may, however, be worthwhile checking the requirements of the country/countries in question.
